A little about me
Good day
My passion for photography began in my late teens with a photo-lab job at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in the 1970s. I built a reputation in the industry, earning many awards one distinguished from Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center. After retiring from JHU/APL, I pursued my other passion with nature.
A nature photographer's dream is a combination of unique conditions, such as specific lighting, a special location, and an opportunity to capture a captivating scene, like the "perfect light" at sunset or the "magical" interplay of fog and light in meadowlands. It can also refer to achieving the ultimate goal of a shot, such as a highly-desired wildlife encounter or creating an image that tells a powerful story about conservation.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.” ― Ansel Adams
